Pizzeria at The Beach House is a relaxed, welcoming space where good food and shared moments come naturally. Our pizzas are rooted in the seasons, crafted with care on slow-fermented sourdough and cooked to order. Simple, generous and made for sharing.

Join us indoors or outside, just steps from Sandsend beach. We’re family and pet friendly, with collection available too, or just pop in for a drink or coffee in our bar.

Led by Executive Chef Adam Maddock, the Pizzeria is part of Saltmoore, our coastal sanctuary in Sandsend.

Please note that from 1 January 2026, the Pizzeria at The Beach House will be temporarily relocated to the Wellness Café in Saltmoore House whilst the new Beach House Pool is being built. We anticipate reopening The Beach House by Easter 2026.

Will the menu change throughout the year?

Yes, it’s designed to evolve with the seasons. Alongside firm favourites like the margherita, you’ll find garden-fresh specials and limited dishes like stone-baked lobster with herb butter when the season allows.

Do you use local ingredients?

Yes. We champion simplicity, seasonality and sustainability. Expect produce from our estate gardens, meats from Lishman’s of Ilkley, and ingredients that celebrate the best of our Yorkshire surroundings.

What makes your sourdough pizza dough special?

Our dough is made with regeneratively farmed flour from Wildfarmed, giving it exceptional flavour while supporting soil health and biodiversity. It’s pizza with purpose.

Can I place a collection order by phone?

We don’t take collection orders over the phone. Please use our [online order form] to place your order. It’s quick, easy and ensures nothing gets missed.

Do you serve drinks?

We do. Our fully licensed bar features a curated selection of wines, cocktails, and locally brewed ales and lagers from Turning Point Brewery, offering something special for every taste.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes! Well-behaved dogs are always welcome at the pizzeria, particularly on our outdoor terrace. Water bowls and the occasional biscuit are provided.

Are you family friendly?

Absolutely. We’re a space for everyone, with relaxed indoor and outdoor seating, picnic tables for leisurely lunches, and a welcoming atmosphere come rain or shine.

Do I need to make a reservation?

We recommend booking ahead, especially during weekends and school holidays, to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows.

Do you cater for allergy or dietary requirements? 

Yes, we do. Vegan and gluten-free options are thoughtfully crafted and always available. If you have specific dietary needs or allergies, just let our team know and we’ll be happy to help.
